Chain around Neck
As a figurative expression, pride was likened to a chain around the neck (Psalms 73:6). Pride is a serpent demon.
Also, according to Proverbs 1:8-9, the instruction of thy father, and the law of your mother are like chains around your neck. Your father and mother can be people who do the will of God or the Devil.
Pro 6:20-21 also says, my son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. 
So, you see, chain around the neck represents teachings, instructions, laws doctrines etc.
According to the chain that you see in your neck will determine the instructions you are receiving. e.g., if it is in the form a serpent, then it means the teachings, instructions, laws doctrines that you are receiving are demonic.
 
Also, it can also literal. A chain that she has is an actual demonic snake. There are many jewelries [rings and chains] they are snakes. The person may see the presence of this demon in dreams.
