MYSTERIES OF SPIRITUAL
ALTARS
Many of you may have problems destroying your lives, and in spite of the helps you seek or the procedures applied, or you may have sought deliverance, the problems are not going away. These traits of problems are a result of family or ancestral Altars or personal, working against your life. Many Christians think that after we break down a certain altar in our lives, we will never have to break altars again, but this is not true. Breaking Altars is an everyday thing, though there are specific Altars that can be broken down once and for all. Everyday, altars are built by various legal grounds and these daily legal grounds invoke spiritual combat between realms. |
An Altar is the Mediator and bridge between the spirit realm and physical realm, and is the table for negotiations between the spiritual and natural world on a Judicial level. It creates a gate for the flow of influences between the domain of the natural and the domain of the spiritual.
An Altar is so powerful and carries so much influence, even God himself, (by His own spiritual Order) required an Altar in order to operate in the earthly realm and Domain of man.
An Altar serves as the representative platform for the judicial laws of spiritual principles, and stands as a point of contact on earth, and is the power that keeps all spiritual gates open between the natural and spiritual realm.
Spirits cannot operate in the domain of men without a legal jurisdiction, because there are laws which governs the spirit realm.
Therefore, for any spirit to operate in the natural realm, there must be a Gate (Portal, Gateway) which connects both realms, but Gates are created only when an Altar is erected. We see this all throughout the Old Testament, where the people had to continually build altars to the Almighty Creator.
The First Altar to God was built by Noah in Genesis 8:20. From henceforth humans began building Altars to God in order to win the favor of God, to attract God's attention, to acknowledge Him, to invoke His intervention, to show gratitude or to make covenants with the almighty.
The System of Altars are also seen among the Pagans. They build Altars in order to invoke the kingdom of Satan for destruction on Earth. Demons are not legal on the Earth until somebody partners with them through sin or incantation.
The First Altar constructed as a judicial platform between man and the kingdom of darkness was built in the Garden of Eden. Hence, the entire human race was sacrificed upon that altar, until Christ came and destroy this altar and set men free.
Sins build altars automatically, and upon their laws, transactions of mutual agreements are carried out. It forms a mutual relationship between the entity and the human.
As long an Altar is standing against you, your battle against a curse that is generated by that altar will go downhill. Whether you break the altar in prayer or the Angels themselves destroy the Altar for you, either way the altar must go down.
Whenever a spirit is operating, there is a legal right. Just mere prayer does not always deal with the problem of demonic harassment.
The level and strength of the Demonic harassment is dependent on the strength of the Altar and the influence it carries, and the Covenant that was made through it. The transaction is based on the covenant.
The Altar is a monument which represents the Law of jurisdiction and order and legality of the gate between two dimensions.
In the Old Testament, whenever a holy sacrificial altar was built to God, a virtue descended upon the sacrifice either to establish or confirm a covenant of death or a covenant of blessing with the person or people; (Genesis 15 verse 1-18, Genesis 8 verse 20-22).

VARIOUS ALTARS in a human life
FAMILY ALTARS
Family Altars are altars that are created by the corporately family upon a mutual agreement or by a member of the family who created an altar to darkness for the protection of the entire family.
In Gen 31:30, "And now you have gone away because you longed greatly for your father's house, but why did you steal my gods?”
Laban, Jacob's father in law had a shrine for Idols in his home. This was his family Altar.
In African countries especially, many mothers and fathers would build altars for the protection, wellbeing, and prosperity of the family household. These altars would be active in the lives of all the family members who are alive at the time, but as the years go by these altars will become generational and Ancestral Altars.
In Genesis 31:30-35, ”Rachel had stolen the idol from the Altar of her father’s house which Laban and Jacob had been looking for. In Gen 35:17-20, Rachel died during childbirth because she attracted a terrible curse to her life by stealing household idols.”
All Family Altars become Ancestral Altars after two generations.
PERSONAL ALTARS
Personal Altars are altars that are built in your personal life by your own sins and actions.
Two women married to men of God kept family idols and made it their personal idols - Rachel and Michal, daughter of king Saul..
You may or may not know about this altar, but with knowledge, you will recognize the fruits of this altar. Visit to fortunes tellers, witch doctors, shamans, Séance’, or any person involve in white Magic or black magic, will cause an altar to be erected in your personal life. If you have personal evil altars in your life, then your altars will be connected to the generation altar. These altars will be connected to other altars; and these altars will be connected to the main altars in the second heaven.
Therefore, the communication between altars must be broken.
Note, All Personal Altars also become Ancestral Altars after two generations.
ANCESTRAL ALTARS
Ancestral Altars are altars that were created by somebody among your ancestors, whose blood your carry in your vein.
(Note, An Ancestor is a person who lived before your grandparents, from whom you descended)
An ancestral Altar may be a personal Altar that an ancestor built, or a family altar that was build among the ancestors.
These Altars, though constructed hundreds of years ago, they still stand in the realm of the spirit, and will work against all those who descend from that family.
We see this system and principle in Bethel. In Gen 12:7-8, Abraham his father built an Altar in Bethel [was called Luz at the time]. Years after, his son Jacob went to this place and settled there for the night.
Without knowing the charge of his father's altar in that place, the ancient altar was immediately activated and began to vibrate because of the presence of someone of the father's bloodline. Jacob then received a divine encounter with God in this place Bethel [previously called Luz] (Gen 28:10-22). Later he went back to Bethel by God's direction to build another family Altar (Gen 35:1), which would become an ancestral Altar.

HOLY ALTARS VS EVIL ALTARS
HOLY ALTARS OF GOD'S PEOPLE
In God’s Kingdom an Altar is built to bring a divine virtue upon the priest and the people of God on whose behalf the Altar was built. This sacrifice was ALWAYS for their well-being, cleansing and blessing. Genesis 35:1, "And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee..."
Nevertheless, according to the person’s heart, the virtue can be a blessing or a judgement (Lev 10:1-2) to the Priest or the people on whose behalf the altar was built. Altars to GOD- Genesis 8:20 and Genesis 12:7. Altars of Incense- Exo 30:1-10.
Solomon also constructed an altar of incense (1Ki 6:20; 1Ki 7:48; 1Ch 28:18).
Are physical Altars to God relevant in this New Testament and dispensation? No! In the New Testament, we have a main and Great Altar to God, and this was established by Christ, when he reconciled us back to God and gave us a heavenly inheritance.
Also, our altars today are our Hearts, and the altars we build are the spiritual altars that are established by our lifestyle.

DEMONIC ALTARS AGAINST SAINTS
Altars are the stronghold of every family.
When a negative decree is made over your life, these words are captured and taken to the Second Heavens for implementation.
These words are placed upon altars and stands as the factor to your setbacks and hindrances.
The altar of Baal in Gideon’s family was destroyed by Gideon. (Judges 6:25-32). Gideon knew that he could not fulfill the mandate of God unless this altar that stood against his destiny and ministry was pulled down.
Altars stand as a memorial for those who raised them. Even the ancestors of godly men raised righteous altars, and the descendants are blessed by reason of God’s covenant relationship with their ancestors, through the altar (Genesis 17:15-21, Genesis 22:15-18, 1 Samuel 7:8-12). Therefore, the descendants of these ancient altars are beneficiaries of great blessings.
It is the same principle when evil altars are built by our ancestors.
Altars open unseen doors in the realm of the spirit. These are the highways for demonic traffic. Altars and Gates attract spiritual traffic depending on who built them and the covenant that was made. The covenant serves as the legal right for spiritual operations between the natural and the spiritual ream.
Once a spiritual doorway and highway is created or opened, it can either become a gate of Hell (Matthew 16:18) or the gate of Heaven (Genesis 28:12-16).
Demonic altars are the table of sacrifices and point of contact to a place or person. Nevertheless, the altar itself is powerless without the sacrifices and incantations. The altars attract the spiritual assistance [spirits]. To every dark spiritual Gate there is a demonic Altar. 2 Kings 23:8, “He also tore down the altars [high places] dedicated to the goat demons near the gate built by Joshua”.
Though we as Christians do not build physical altars and perform sacrifices, yet the kingdom of darkness still does. They understand the spiritual laws and principles behind altars and sacrifices.
In the Kingdom of darkness, this virtue brings demonic blessings to the person or people on whose behalf the altar and sacrifice was made; to establish, confirm or reaffirm an ancient or modern covenant.
There are always series of destruction which follows all those who evoke and conjure the pagan gods for blessings. All demonic blessings come with a price; a bond agreement that requires one or all the children, or a family member. There is nothing free in the kingdom of the Devil.
Altars to the Devil - (2Ch 11:15, Joshua 22:16, Jdg 6:31, 1Ki 18:26, 2Ch 33:3).
Danger of Standing Evil Altars
As long the altar built against you is standing, the operations, the decrees and curses of this altar will stand. If that altar is broken down, then this is the first step to recovery warfare. Many times, Christians pray and fast with no result and that may be because of a demonic altar that need to be broken down. This takes a level of power.
If we realize, throughout the Old Testament God keep commanding the people of Israel to destroy every demonic altar that they encounter in the land that they enter. Great emphasis was placed on destroying the pagan altars standing on the land:
Exo 34:13, “But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves”
Deut 7:5, “But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.”
Deut 12:3, “And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods and destroy the names of them out of that place.”
2Ch 14:3, “For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves”
2Ch 17:6, “And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover, he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.”
2Ch 19:3, “Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.”
The Altars energizes the decrees of ordinances that were established against you. The Gate is the connector between the natural and spiritual world, but the altar is the inter-mediator and transmitter of the negative frequency between the evil kingdom and a person.

Different Types of Altars
And How To Break Them
- STONE ALTARS
Because of the significance of stones, stone altars are the most powerful altars. Witches would burn with fire evil substances mixed with the victim’s name, date of birth, photos or item, and a slain animal [if it is a blood ritual and incantation], and prayers would be made against the person’s life.
If these are built in the cemetery then they would call upon the Guardians of the gates of the Realm of the dead to destroy your life.
Also, they would burn your items upon that altar, and while the item is burning your life is being consume.
- SOIL ALTARS
- TREE ALTARS
- SACRED GROVES
Gen 21:33, “And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.” This was a holy grove.
But the Pagans built demonic groves throughout the Ages. 1Ki 14:23, “For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.”
In ancient times, Groves were used by Occultists as Altars to conjure spirits and to cast spells on behalf of a nation or a king and were also used for presumptuous Idol worship. The same practice exists today. Many times, we see groves and walk pass by, but may not know that it is a demonic Gate.
- HIGH PLACES
2Ki 16:4, “And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree”.
- WATER ALTARS
In the Bible, Water is also used for many ceremonies, i.e. Baptism (Acts 8:36, 11:16), purification (Numbers 19), judicial concoction (Numbers 5:11-22) etc. Some ceremonies were done over running water according to Lev 14:50, “And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water”,
Lev 14:51, “…and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times”
This is a spiritual principle and therefore is practiced by all practitioners of spirituality. The Satanic kingdom uses water as the gate to the Marine kingdom.
- AERIAL ALTARS
Chinese for example uses Sky Lanterns to memorialize a loved one.
They release small hot air balloons to symbolize the release of the dead one's spirit.
They believe that the loved one’s soul is soaring high above the clouds and entering the Great Beyond towards the heavens.
In ancient China, it is said that sky lanterns were strategically used in wars, just as kites were used in ancient Chinese warfare. They were used as a form of military communication to transmit secret messages, surveillance, sending signals, spying and lighting up the night sky when they are about to set ambush on a city at night etc.
The memorial service is usually held at dusk as the sun begins to set.
A single candle is used to represent the loved one’s spirit.
