PRAYER & THE MYSTERIES OF THE CARDINAL GATES
In prayer, there are mysteries in Cardinal directions as it pertains to the mysteries of God and the mysteries of the spirit realms.
Throughout the Bible, God has used cardinal points, North, South, East and West to unfold the mysteries of His will. God would ask the prophets to do certain things facing one of the Cardinal points.
2Chronicles 4:4, "It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east:"
1Chronicles 9:24, "In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south". Also, (Rev 21:12-13, 1Kings 7:25).
There are also prophetic gestures tied to cardinal directions in prayer and spiritual warfare.
Example, in prayer a person would raise his or her hands in the air facing a specific location. Would there be a prophetic and spiritual connotation to this? Yes!
Let us look at the possessing of the Gates of the four Cardinal Points in 1Chr 9:23-24 & Number Chp 2.
In prayer, God may allow us to face a certain direction, based on the nature of our prayer, why?
When the children of Israel pitched their tents in the wilderness, they had to pitch facing a specific cardinal Point of the Earth.
There are Four divisions in the Earth cardinal: East (Orient), South (Midi), West (Occident) and North (Septentrion).
Satan has four king Demons, [demons of the four elements] stationed at each cardinal hemisphere.
But most notably, there are Four (4) Principalities of God who are Stationed at each point. These Four Principalities of God built a Watch tower at each point, and a wall that connects the points of the cardinal. This is for divine Angelic operations on earth and against Satan’s evil kingdom.
There are 12 Gates of the Heavens: 3 gates to the East, 3 to the West, 3 to the North, 3 to the South, and each cardinal point contains a middle Gate which possesses the Winds of God.
Hence, God gave specific instructions to the twelve Tribes of Israel in relations to these cardinal points and set them in their course.
Tribes Facing East: (Judah; Issachar and Zebulun)- Num 2:3- 7
Tribes Facing South: Reuben; Simeon; and Gad)- Num 2:10-14
Tribes Facing West: (Ephraim; Manasseh; and Benjamin) - Num 2:18
Tribes Facing North: (Dan; Asher; and Naphtali)- Num 2:25-29,

12:00 - 3:00 is North to East – by Archangel Michael
3:00 - 6:00 is East to South – by Archangel Raphael
6:00 - 9:00 is South to West – by Archangel Gabriel
9:00 - 12:00 is West to North – by Archangel Phanuel
3:00 - 6:00 is East to South – by Archangel Raphael
6:00 - 9:00 is South to West – by Archangel Gabriel
9:00 - 12:00 is West to North – by Archangel Phanuel
What is the mystery behind these gestures?
When each set pitched facing his cardinal point, it was to possess the Gate of that hemisphere in the realm of the spirit.
This possession of the Gates of the four Cardinal points is seen in 1Chr 9:23, “And these and their sons were over the gates in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the tabernacle, to keep watch.”
1Ch 9:24, “The gates were toward the four winds, eastward, westward, northward, southward”
Also, we must know that Satanic battles are heavily waged in the East Hemisphere and in the West Hemisphere because that’s where God’s name is glorified, and His praises are magnified. Also, Witchcraft is waged upon the phases of the Sun which goes from East to West daily.
Isa 59:19, "So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun."
Psalms 113:3, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised."
God spoke about deliverance from the four cardinal points in Psa 107:2-3, “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south”.
When we pray in the morning, we can pray facing the east to possess the gates of the East just as Judah, Issachar and Zebulun who pitched towards the East, and at nights we can pray facing west to possess the gates of the west, like Ephraim; Manasseh and Benjamin who were pitched towards the west.
Why would God ask them to pitch their tent facing the East to the rising Sun?
It is because, when the Sun rises, it brings a mystery of God's goodness that Ancient Israel knew about, but modern-day Christianity does not know about it.
The sun rays radiate God's glory; but READ THIS: Malachi 4:2, "But to you who fear My name, the Sun of (Righteousness) shall arise, and healing will be on (His) wings." SEE: PRAYING FACING EAST
