Zadok is of the order of Melchizedek.
Heb 7:2 made it very clear that Melchizedek by interpretation means King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace.
Zadok is from the name Melchi-zedek, hence, we see the Priest Zadok being given the same mandate to be in peace. [2Sa 15:27 The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art does not thou a seer? return into the city in peace]. Peace is one of the qualities of this Tribe.
The Zadok Priesthood is to carry the glory to its rightful place among God’s people. That is why Zadok is the one who was ordered to bring the Ark of Glory back to Jerusalem. 2Sa 15:25 “And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city.”
2Sa_15:24 And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God:
2Sa_15:29 Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there.
But when we go back to Heb 7:2, Melchizedek is King of Salem. Now this is interesting because Salem is what is known as Jerusalem [Jeru-Salem] [YeruShalem [Yerushalayim], which basically means Yah our Peace.
Now here is the mystery. In Psalms 76:2, it says, “In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion”.
This scripture confirms that Salem is a place called mount Zion. But this does not make sense because Zion came into existence in 2Sa_5:7 that says, “Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.”
So, Zion is the city of David, which is called Jerusalem, the former city of the Jebusites, and this city and name came about after the destruction of the Jebusites.
So how could Salem be Jerusalem and Zion Psalms 76:2, when Jerusalem and Zion did not exist in the time of Abraham and book of Genesis?
So, we see that Melchizedek was a king of Zion before Zion existed by David, and he was king of peace [Jeru-Salem] before Jerusalem existed in the time of David.
So, if he was the king of a City that did not exist in the natural world, it means Melchizedek was the king of a spiritual city, called Zion. This Zion was spiritual and is the city by which physical Zion and Jerusalem was established.
Zion or Jerusalem is built upon Seven (7) mountains. The Seven earthly mountains of Zion or Jerusalem are fashioned after the 7 mountains of the spiritual Zion.
These seven mountains of mount Zion or Salem are the seven Pillars of Wisdom [Pro 9:1] and the 7 spirits or Anointings of Iasiah 11:2, which are the 7 eternal flames or lamps.
So, the Zadok priests are keepers of Zion and keepers of its 7 mountains, which are the seven wisdoms and 7 anointing.
These are Lamps and they are:
1. The Spirit of the LORD
2. The Spirit of Wisdom
3. The Spirit of Understanding,
4. The Spirit of Counsel
5. The Spirit of Might
6. The Spirit of Knowledge
7. The Spirit of the Fear of The LORD (Isa 11:2)
It means the Zadokite tribe carries the fire of the touch to give light to those who sit in darkness, and this light is the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Zadok priests are to restore the 7 anointings to its rightful place and this corelates with 2Sam 15:25 And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city.
Also, The Zadok Priesthood is to carry the horns.
1 King 1:39 And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle. He took the Oil from the Tabernacle and anointed...
God has given the Zadok Warriors access to the anointing in order to maintain the glory of God amongst the people.
This tribe is a tribe that suppose to carry the like virtue of the Zadok, who was a seer.
The king ask Zadok a question Art not thou a seer? This was to remind Zadok that he has the ability to see in the realm of the spirit.
The Tribe of Zadok is to see the upcoming judgement of God, the upcoming blessings of God, the upcoming events which are to unfold in the nations, and also to see what God is saying to the Church.
