Four (4) Types of
Soul Ties
We must know that there are good soul ties and bad soul ties. A Soul tie is basically a bonding between the soul of two beings.
The Four Categories of Soul ties are:
1. SOUL TIE OF FRIENDSHIP/FAMILY – (Natural affection and Human relationships. Jonathan and David)
There are soul ties between friends, knitted by true friendship and soul ties between family members who love each other dearly.
When you have a soul tie to a friend, this person would be referred to as your best friend or bosom friend, or even BFF. This soul tie is what existed between David and Jonathan in 1Samuel 18. Vs.1 says, “And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.”
2. SOUL TIE THROUGH SEX -
Sex is Tri-dimensional. The changes start not on a physical level, but on a chemical level as chemicals in the brain starts changing, creating a mental bond. That mental bond is a mental stronghold and is the first wall of the mental or psychological fortress.
There is something called the “Limbic bond” which is an emotional and biological connection that you form with your partner.
When two people sleep together, there are mutual neural patterns activated in the limbic system.
When you are joint to someone on a spiritual level, you share the same substance, just as Adam and Even shared the same substance. Example, we see in 1Corinthians 6:16, WHAT! Don't you know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For He says, "The two shall be one flesh."
If you have a soul tie with a Harlot [Harlot represent anybody who is a fornicator or adulterer], then you share the shame spiritual substance of this harlot. If you and a harlot become one, [Harlot could be male or female], then you are in the harlot, and the harlot is in you, knitted by a soul tie. By this principle, being one with a fornicator, adultery or prostituted you are automatically seen in the spirit with the image of a fornicator or adulterer. You may not be engaged directly in the act, but you become a bearer of the sins of that sexual immoral person because both of you are “one flesh”.
What affects the man affects the woman with whom he is tied to, and vice versa. When a demon is affecting that man with whom you have a soul tie, it will affect you automatically, because both of you are joined by the knitting of a soul tie. Imagine being affected by the demons that are afflicting and tormenting the past lover with whom you have soul ties.
They may be thousands of miles away, yet you are affected by the things that affect them.
When you sleep with a person, a piece of you is deposited in that person, and if you slept with partners who are all over the state, then a piece of you is scattered all over the state. This is a type of defragmented soul.
3. SOUL TIES BY VOWS AND WORDS
Vow creates soul ties, legal agreement by vows, words, declaration etc.,
When you say to a man, “I am all yours”, or you call a man “your husband”, or you say to a man “you are mines” or “you will be mines”, even if you a just saying it jokingly, you have now bound yourself by verbal covenant and give substance for the construction of an altar.
Even if you said it as a joke, demons use words as rods in the spirit realm because things in the astral realm are voice activated.
These words are placed upon their altars, and now a personal soul tie is forged in your life.
Upon your words God can move and sit and also upon your words Darkness can move and sit.
SOUL TIES MADE ON YOUR BEHALF BY WORDS OF LEGALITY.
There are appointments you can make, and there can be appointments that can be made for you, without your knowledge.
Even if you are not a participant in this, or it was done without your knowledge, the fact is there is an appointment with your name on it.
It is the same thing with many soul ties. There are people whose names are in soul ties without the person being a direct participant.
Some parents tie the soul of their daughter to a man whom they want their daughter to marry or the soul of their son to a woman in society whom they want him to marry.
This is a covenant of forced marriage or forced union. Many women, especially in Africa and Asia are tied to men whom their parents declared they should marry, even if the woman does not love or know the man.
Also, there are parents who went to Witch doctors in order to tie their daughters to a man of financial or social stature, and vice versa, and this would create soul ties in the children’s lives. These are soul ties through words of Incantations. Their evil words are placed upon altars, and an altar is immediately built in your life.
4. SOUL TIE TO DEMONS -
There are people who are harassed by sexual demons – spirit wives and spirit husbands, or by succubus or incubus spirits.
Sexual connections with a demon spirit may be a hard reality to accept by many, but the testimonies and experiences of people, with scriptural evidence are undeniable.
Sexual connection with demons brings a severe curse and is a detrimental soul tie.
1Corinthians 6, confirms that sexual intercourse with a being brings a knitting of both souls. Vs.16, “Aren’t you aware of the fact that when anyone sleeps with a prostitute he becomes a part of her, and she becomes a part of him? For it has been declared: The two become a single body.” This scripture refers to the joining of Humans with humans, but what about being joined to a spirit?
For those who do not believe that a human can be joined to a spirit being, let’s look further.
We know that the Lord Christ Jesus is a spirit, specifically the Godhead is a spirit [2Co 3:17, “Now the Lord is that Spirit:”, John 4:24, “God is a Spirit:”]
In Vs.17, it says, “But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with him. It is clear that Vs.16 and 17 are all speaking of intimacy with a spirit [God], and the result of this intimate relationship will bring about a soul tie, between the human and the God who is a spirit, making both one.
It is the same thing with Demon spirits. Sex with a demon joins a person to that demon, and the two become one.
Do you know what this means?
If you are joined to a Marine demon through union of sexuality, you have become one with that Demon.
You and the Demon are now one and share the same substance. If you share the same substance with a demon, then what are you in the spirit realm? because the two have now become one.
When a person is joined to a demonic spirit through sexual connections, that person bears the image of that spirit and carries the essence of that spirit and is also a bearer of spiritual marital certificate confirming the union with that spirit.
Hence, deep deliverance is needed in this aspect.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEDDING AND MARRIAGE
Wedding is the physical ceremony or even spiritual ceremony BUT marriage is the union and fusion of the spirits of the two beings.
When you are joined to the Lord through the Spirit, you become one. This means you are of the same substance of Christ; therefore, you are a son of Christ.
In the same manner, there is a joining that takes place when two people come together as husband and wife. However, the joining is not just physical, but the real joining and connection takes place on a soulish and spiritual dimension.
This fusion takes place in sexual intimacy which is the platform for spiritual unions.
Genesis 2:24, “Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh.”
In a wedding, you may share a houses and other material things; but in a marriage you share essences and spiritual substances. There is a transmission and reception that takes place between two married people. There is an exchange of virtues and there can even be impartation between both souls in a marital union.
Hence, it is the joining of the souls that bridge both realities and creates an exchange of spiritual elements.
