YOUR NAME CAN PREVENT YOU FROM ENTERING HEAVEN
Many people have not understood the significance of a name, but your name can be the source of your blessings or the source of your many troubles. A person’s name carries his or her destiny and the authority of his or her destiny; and reveals the secret character that would empower his or life. Therefore, a person's name is printed on the forehead, whether good or bad. If the name is good, it's a blessing; but if the name of bad, it will attract the negative virtue of the name, and the kingdom of darkness will have access to the person.
When a person is born and is about to be named by dedication, two spirits will appear, An Angel from Heaven and a Demon from Hell.
Heaven has a Book of Life and Hell has a Book of Death for every human being.
If your name is pure, the Angel will write your name, but if your name is corrupted because it is attached to an Idol, the Angel of God will disappear without writing down your name.
This person as a human being would get saved by grace, living a holy life doing all the Christian works, but they are not citizens of heaven.
The Christian’s work could be accepted by Heaven, the person could have many mansions in Heaven because of their evangelical works, their lives could be approved by God, and they are walking in holiness, they will still not be known by Heaven as a citizen. Why?
Because you cannot enter Heaven with just holiness, but your name must be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
It doesn’t matter what position this Christian has in the church, how much this Christian prays, fast, and give Alms, this person cannot enter heaven, even being filled with the holy spirit and speaking in tongues. Why? Because their names are not written in the Book of Life.
This is so because the Angel who were supposed to write the person’s name in the Book of Life, left at the Naming Ceremony and did not write the name because the name was tied to the name of an Idol.
In the Days of Old, people would give a child a name with meaning; God himself gave children names with meaning. Today, parents would give children any name that sound good to them without knowing the background of the name. The name will have effect on the child’s life negatively or positively.
The virtue that is to govern your purpose in life is spoken in your name.
For a person to enter Heaven, his or her name must be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
If your name is connected to a pagan god or goddess, or your name is the name of an Idol, or Fallen Angel or Demon, your name cannot be written in Heaven because NO unclean names can be written in Heaven. The names of Demons and Fallen angels are unclean and abominable names, therefore, their names are blotted out from the presence of God as the wrath of God burns against them, in the same way described in Deut 29:20.
If a child’s name is Isis, Dagon, Diana, or Astoreth or Moloch, Zeus or other names connected with ancient pagan deities, this child cannot enter Heaven’s Gate because the Angels cannot write these names in Heaven; for they are names of demon gods and goddesses.
Idols are not physical objects, but spiritual entities who stand behind the images which are made to represent them.
In ancient Greek literature, an Eidol-on ('image, double, apparition, phantom, ghost') is a spirit-image of a living or dead person, a shade or phantom look-alike of the human form.

If we notice in Scriptures, God had to change the names of many people in order for them to carry the mandate of God.
God had to change the name of Jacob to Israel, in order for him to carry the Princely anointing and bring forth 12 tribes of Princes. Gen 32:28, “Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men”
God had to change the name of Hoshea to Joshua- Numbers 13:16 “And Moses called Hosea, the son of Nun, Jehoshua (Joshua).
Saul’s name had to change from Saul to Paul.
Simon’s name had to be changed from Simon to Peter.
In Genesis 17:5 when God declared that Abram shall be the father of many nations), God had to change his name from Abram to Abraham in order to speak his destiny through his name. When his name was changed, he was then able to carry that mighty blessing.
Also, in order for Sarai, [Abraham’s wife] to become a mother of nations, bringing forth kings, her name had to be changed from Sarai to Sarah in Genesis 17:15-16. The change of the “i” to “h” made a difference in the spiritual realm.
