PRAYER OF APPROACH
AS KING
Oh King, Your Royal Highness, Imperial and majestic One, we approach your throne of majesty through the Blood of Jesus, and we implore your help and rule in your sovereignty.
We are children of your Kingdom and we of the kingdom are in need of help. Our resources are all ran out, and the oppressors who have set themselves over the Earth are cruel to me.
Oh Heavenly King, You have implemented rules and procedures for many who were oppressed in your kingdom, and those who were dealt with unjustly, you ruled in their favour and gave them an inheritance.
Those who were naked, they found favour in your sight, and you ordered by your officers that they be clothed in royal apparel.
Those who were hungry found favour in your sight, and you ordered by the keepers of your palace, that they, the hungry should be fed with food meet for Kings.
Those who were outcast, found favour with you and received wages at your vineyards, and they were able to feed their families and pay bills.
The rule of your kingship has dominated many nations, and the fame of your power and authority was made known through generations.
The poor men and women cried unto you, and you heard them and delivered them, and set them among princes.
Many people were glad at your forthcoming, because your countenance is pleasant to look upon, and your voice of justice is pleasant to our ears.
Therefore, let now Oh King, your authority be displayed, because the oppressors have plundered my home and goods, and have terrorized the neighbourhood and the order of your Kingdom has been broken, and this is causing me much suffering.
Many of those whom you have set over us treats us unjustly, and those of the other kingdoms have persecuted me and my family. The wealth that was owed us and given to the family bloodline was stolen by our enemies; and behold they are rejoicing over the blessings that they took from me.
As we speak, behold they are taking council against me, and desire to make an end of my life, but I throw myself at your mercies and help Oh Great King of kings, and request the authority of your kingdom to put an end to my misery and suffering.
The things that I want to do, I cannot because of insufficient resources; the people I want to help, I cannot because of lack. Behold my grounds have not brought forth in all its strength, and the enemies have plundered my seeds sown.
I seek the intervention of your kingship and the judgement of Your Throne, and I pray that my enemies be repaid sevenfold what they have done to me and my household.
Let the works of their hands fall back upon them, and let their councils come to naught.
Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly- Psalms 6:10.
Let your officers seize them and imprison them, for they have conspired against my King and the servants of His Kingdom.
Oh, Great King, Your sovereign highness, rest your staff upon my right shoulder, and give me the right hand of your approval and justice.
Those who trust in you shall never be ashamed, for you said in your word in Isaiah 49:23, “And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me”.
Let the Order of your kingdom be restored to full function.
Therefore, Great King, I await your decree in this matter, and for this I give you glory, honour and praise.
